The Debussy Room

“The sea has behaved beautifully towards me and shown me all her guises” exclaimed classical composer Achille-Claude Debussy in a letter to his publisher from his Jersey retreat in 1904.

Debussy worked on ‘L’isle Joyeuse’, ‘Masques’ and ‘La Mer’ whilst in the Island of Jersey, and the bay windowed seating area in our powder blue Debussy Room is ideal to whet your own creativity for business or pleasure.

The room is as you’d expect from Eulah Country House Hotel: a luxurious double bed, casual and upright seating areas and huge bathroom with separate bath and shower and two sinks – to avoid any discord spoiling your creative retreat.
