The Victor Hugo Honeymoon Suite

Victor Hugo (1802 – 1885), French poet and playwright, completed his most famous novels ‘Les Misérables’ and ‘Notre-Dame de Paris’ during exile in the Channel Islands. As an exponent of the French Romanticism movement he published 'Les Contemplations', a collection of memories about love and joy, whilst in Jersey – which is why we have named our romance suite in his honour.

Most people are speechless when they first enter this wonderfully romantic suite – the pride of Eulah Country House Hotel. For weddings, honeymoons, special anniversaries or to say unequivocally “I love you”, the main room is an unbelievable 500 square feet in size. Its gorgeous bathroom is 300 square feet, with everything including a canopied bath.
